The past two years, the scouts have chosen to plan a Yellowstone High Adventure trip. The groups kayaked on Shoshone Lake which is the second largest lake in the United States lower 48 that cannot be accessed by a road or motorized boat. The scouts caught plenty of brown, rainbow, and lake trout! What an amazing opportunity for a remote high adventure boating and fishing trip!
High Adventure at Camp Alexander offered ice climbing, skating, sledding, winter land navigation, and winter wilderness survival. It was an amazing winter experience!
The scouts hiked eleven miles to the Lion’s Head rock formation in Staunton State Park. They also earned conservation service hours by removing thistles as part of a weed mitigation project in the park.
